Fresno State’s student-run Vintage Days festival will be held this year in-person on the Fresno State campus from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m on Friday and Saturday, April 29 and 30, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, May 1.
The annual festival had been forced to move to a virtual setting the previous two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
More than 20 student-run food booths will be on site along with other vendors including A Taste of Paradise Hawaiian Shaved Ice, Texas Twister Drinks, FURY Hot Chicken, Dutch Bros Coffee and others.
There will also be a beer and wine garden for guests 21 and over.
All proceeds will benefit campus organizations.
“Vintage Days is back and better than ever,” said Student Director Jazmyne Barron. “Our team is very excited to host this Valley tradition and bring our community together on the beautiful Fresno State campus for a weekend of food, fun and attractions.”
A Crafts Faire, along with an artisan marketplace will be on site offering over 100 booths selling unique, handmade goods.
Blue Shell Gaming will be hosting an admission-free exhibit on the history of video games, along with photo opportunities with cosplay characters and more. A $10 wristband gives guests access to unlimited console gaming and the Mario Kart Live racetrack.
A Kids Zone will also be available, offering $20 wristbands for children to enjoy inflatables, pony rides, the Blue Shell Gaming area, a petting zoo and more.
Various musicians, bands and DJs will perform throughout the weekend as well, and a free screening of “Spider Man: No Way Home” will begin at 8 p.m. on Friday on the lawn near the Satellite Student Union. Guests will have the opportunity to have their picture taken with Spider-Man and Doctor Strange cosplay actors starting at 7 p.m.
Fresno State will also be hosting a Bulldog Block Party on Saturday, as the Fresno State Football Team hosts its Spring Preview at Bulldog Stadium, with tailgating lots opening at 9 a.m. for $10. The tailgating pass also grants attendees access to the Fresno State baseball game at 3 p.m. that afternoon.
