The Collegian, Fresno State’s student-led news organization, hosted Collegian Fest 2026 on Oct. 27 in the Memorial Garden in front of the campus bookstore.
The superhero-themed networking event connected students with news professionals from The Business Journal, KMPH Fox 26, ABC30, The Fresno Bee and other local outlets. Collegian staff dressed as superheroes, and Q97.1 provided music.
Students got free pizza, a photo booth, bracelet crafting and tote bag decorating. They could also share story ideas with Collegian staff and win prizes, including T-shirts and footballs. Fresno State mascot Victor E. Bulldog posed for photos at the booth.
