Residents in and around the cities of Hanford and Madera have new options in how they buy used cars.

Carvana.com, an online business that allows people to select cars online using and get them delivered to their homes to finalize the purchases, has announced that the two cities will join two other Central Valley cities, Visalia and Fresno, as places to which the company delivers cars — usually by the next day.

Those cars come from a handful of “reconditioning sites” around the county — the nearest near Phoenix — and are delivered to customers homes. Once there, the customers can personally inspect the cars and test-drive them to decide if they want to go through with the purchases.

“Additionally, anyone can sell their car to Carvana, even if they aren’t buying one, simply by entering their license plate or [vehicle identification number] online, and get a real offer in minutes,” a press release from Carvana states.

The service is limited to certain cities — which now number four in the Central Valley — and areas immediately around them.

To find out more about Carvana and if you live in a city from where you can purchase a car from the company, go online to Carvana.com.
