The West Coast Sourdough located at 3090 W. Shaw Ave. in Fresno, is hosting a three-year anniversary celebration Saturday, offering guests hundreds of free sandwiches, cookies and more.
From 11 a.m. until 8 p.m., the first 200 customers inside the store on Saturday will receive a free 6-inch sandwich of their choice, with the next 100 guests receiving a free cookie.
Specials continue with a buy-one, get-one-free deal on sandwiches all weekend after the first 300 guests are served. Receipt vouchers will also be available in all order bags for future discounts.
The event not only celebrates the anniversary, but also new ownership.
“We normally run our grand openings when we open up our new sites, but this is going to be our first time doing an anniversary special here,” said store owner Manny Deol.
Additionally, every customer who posts a picture from the anniversary celebration to the store’s Instagram page on Saturday and Sunday will have the chance to win a grand prize – airpods and free West Coast Sourdough sandwiches every month for 12 months.
“We’re super excited,” Deol said. “We are under new ownership now so we wanted to bring in all of our existing and new customers and get the word out.”
Guests are encouraged to RSVP at the West Coast Sourdough Shaw Facebook page.
West Coast Sourdough has three Fresno locations and one each in Clovis, Madera, Visalia and Porterville. Opened in 2020 out of San Francisco, the franchise chain has expanded to include 35 locations, with an additional 25 projected openings as of 2024, according to Kay Uppal, Director of Operations with West Coast Sourdough.
West Coast Sourdough hopes to expand into three additional states by the end of 2024.
The store near Shaw and Marks avenues will be the only Fresno location celebrating its anniversary this weekend.
