The Advisory Board Co. has named Valley Children’s Healthcare Workplace of the Year for 2018. This is their second year in a row to be recognized.

“Once again being named one of the best working environments in the nation is such a huge honor and recognizes all the hard work our teams have been doing to engage and support one another,” said Todd Suntrapak, CEO and president of Valley Children’s Healthcare. “Our ability to come together as a team is what gives us the ability to deliver on our promise to provide outstanding care to the children and families we serve.”

The annual award is given to 20 organizations across the United States and recognizes hospitals and health care networks for employee engagement. The Advisory Board defines engaged employees as exhibiting loyalty and commitment to their organization.

Valley Children’s employs more than 3,400 people, partners with more than 575 physicians and has 425 volunteers within the network. It serves a 12-county service area that includes more than 1.3 million children.
