Headquartered in the Mosqueda Community Center, Reading and Beyond helps children and adults achieve literacy as well as serving to help community members with social programs and seek assistance.

During the pandemic, it operated the Fresno Food CARES Program to help distribute food. It also was among the half dozen programs in the City of Fresno to help administer housing assistance during the pandemic.

Most recently, Flores served as interim CEO for Teen Success, Inc, helping transition the organization through a leadership change. Flores also works with the Central Valley Community Foundation as a senior program officer.

Flores has a bachelor of science degree from Oklahoma City University.
