On May 20, 2024 at 6:00 p.m., in the Council Chamber, 1033 Fifth Street, Clovis, CA, 93612, the Clovis City Council adopted an ordinance to amend the Official Map of the City of Clovis in accordance with section 9.08.020 and chapter 9.86 of the Clovis municipal code to prezone approximately 1.62 acres from the R-A (Single-Family Residential Very Low Density) Zone District to the R-3 (Multifamily High Density) Zone District for property located at the northwest corner of Ashlan and DeWolf Avenues and find on the basis of the initial study completed for the Project, a mitigated negative declaration has been prepared, circulated, and made available for public comment pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (“CEQA”).

On May 20, 2024, the Clovis City Council adopted the following Ordinance:
Ordinance 24-03, an Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Clovis Amending Sections 5.29.102, 5.29.203, and 5.29.301 of Chapter 5.29, of Title 5 of the Clovis Municipal Code pertaining to Definitions and Regulations relating to Multiple Responses to Nuisance Violations.
This Ordinance amended the Clovis Municipal Code to update applicable definitions and remove potential inconsistencies between the Municipal Code and recently enacted Assembly Bill (AB) 1418 which prohibits imposing penalties solely as a consequence of contact with law enforcement not resulting in a citation or arrest. Specifically, the Ordinance amendment will change the current language of the City’s multiple response ordinance to require the issuance of a criminal or administrative citation (including a warning citation) before authorizing imposition of the response cost penalties for multiple responses to nuisances. REQUEST FOR BIDS – LSID PHASE 2 PIPELINE REPLACEMENT PROJECT
In general, the work consists of replacing existing pipeline infrastructure along county right of way with connections to existing irrigation and domestic water meter services. 1) Sealed bids will be received by the Lindsay-Strathmore Irrigation District prior to 11:00:00 a.m. (local time) on July 2, 2024, at Provost & Pritchard Consulting Group, 400 E.
