Probate

  (1)

NOTICE OF PETITION TO

ADMINISTER ESTATE OF

Theo E. Phillips, Sr.

CASE NO: 18CEPR00038

To all heirs, beneficiaries, creditors, contingent creditors, and persons who may otherwise be interested in the will or estate, or both, of Theo E. Phillips, Sr.

A Petition for Probate has been filed by Yolanda Phillips, Theo E. Phillips Jr., Tamara Johnson in the Superior Court of California, County of FRESNO.

The Petition for Probate requests that Yolanda Phillips, Theo E. Phillips Jr., Tamara Johnson be appointed as personal representative to administer the estate of the decedent.

The petition requests authority to administer the estate under the Independent Administration of Estates Act. (This authority will allow the personal representative to take many actions without obtaining court approval. Before taking certain very important actions, however, the personal representative will be required to give notice to interested persons unless they have waived notice or consented to the proposed action.) The independent administration authority will be granted unless an interested person files an objection to the petition and shows good cause why the court should not grant the authority.

A hearing on the petition will be held in this court as follows:

February 22, 2018, 9:00 A.M., Dept.: 303

1130 “O” Street, 3rd Floor – Dept. 303

Fresno, California 93724

If you object to the granting of the petition, you should appear at the hearing and state your objections or file written objections with the court before the hearing. Your appearance may be in person or by your attorney.

If you are a creditor or a contingent creditor of the decedent, you must file your claim with the court and mail a copy to the personal representative appointed by the court within the later of either (1) four months from the date of first issuance of letters to a general personal representative, as defined in section 58(b) of the California Probate Code, or (2) 60 days from the date of mailing or personal delivery to you of a notice under section 9052 of the California Probate Code. Other California statutes and legal authority may affect your rights as a creditor. You may want to consult with an attorney knowledgeable in California law.

You may examine the file kept by the court. If you are a person interested in the estate, you may file with the court a Request for Special Notice (form DE-154) of the filing of an inventory and appraisal of estate assets or of any petition or account as provided in Probate Code section 1250. A Request for Special Notice form is available from the court clerk.

NOTICE OF PETITION TO

ADMINISTER ESTATE OF

Charlene L. Azlin

CASE NO: 17 CE PR 00733

To all heirs, beneficiaries, creditors, contingent creditors, and persons who may otherwise be interested in the will or estate, or both, of Charlene L. Azlin

A Petition for Probate has been filed by Alan Rafanan in the Superior Court of California, County of FRESNO.

The Petition for Probate requests that Alan Rafanan be appointed as personal representative to administer the estate of the decedent.

January 30, 2018, 9:00 A.M., Dept.: 303

1130 “O” Street, 3rd Floor – Dept. 303

Fresno, California 93721

Probate

On or about January 14, 2017 January 16, 2018 the County of Fresno will submit a request to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the release of the Lead-Based Paint Hazard Control Grant Program (LBPHC) as authorized by Section 1011 of the Residential Lead-Based Paint Hazard Reduction Act of 1992 (Title X of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1992, 42 U.S.C. 4852) with funding provided by the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2017 (Public Law 115-31), approved May 5, 2017. The Lead-Based Paint Hazard Control Program funding is authorized under Section 502 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1970 (12 U.S.C. 1701z-2) for the following multi-year program/project, which covers a period of time from January 16, 2018 to January 16, 2021.  The Lead-Based Paint Hazard Control Program will be applied in removing lead hazards from 65 units of low-income housing in Fresno County. The grant will also increase lead awareness through community events, presentations, workshops and meetings, consultations, agency and community-based collaborations, targeted mailings, and build the capacity for maintaining affordable lead-safe housing by providing 20 individuals with lead safety training. In accordance with §58.15, a tiered review process has been structured, whereby some environmental laws and authorities have been reviewed and studied for the intended target areas listed above. Other applicable environmental laws and authorities will be complied with, when individual projects are ready for review. Specifically, the target areas have been studied and compliance with the following laws and authorities have been established in this Tier 1 review:  Airport Hazards, Coastal Barrier Resources, Air Quality, Coastal Zone Management, Endangered Species, Explosive and Flammable Hazards, Farmlands Protection, Floodplain Management, Noise Abatement and Control, Sole Source Aquifers, Wetlands Protection, Wild and Scenic Rivers, and Environmental Justice. Should individual aggregate projects exceed the threshold for categorical exclusion detailed at §58.35(a), an Environmental Assessment will be completed and a separate Finding of No Significant Impact and Request for Release of Funds published. Copies of the compliance documentation worksheets are available at the address below.

An Environmental Review Record (ERR) that documents the environmental determinations for this project, and more fully describes the tiered review process cited above, is on file and is available for examination and copying at the following location and at the times listed below:
