The Visalia Rawhide and its new ownership group, OnDeck Partners, will host an inaugural community celebration and ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday, Jan. 14, at Valley Strong Ballpark in downtown Visalia to celebrate the start of a new era for the long time Visalia franchise.

The family-friendly event will run from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m, kicks off with opening remarks from OnDeck leadership and city officials, followed by a formal ribbon-cutting at 5 p.m. A fan fest will include food trucks, live music, kids’ activities, inflatables and more.

The event highlights OnDeck’s commitment to community engagement following its recent acquisition of the Rawhide, one of the West Coast’s oldest minor league teams and Single-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks. 

OnDeck is led by investor Marc Lasry through his Avenue Capital Group’s sports fund, OnDeck aims to revamp fan experiences and strengthen local ties at the downtown Visalia ballpark.
