Genelle Taylor Kumpe has resigned as executive director of the Marjaree Mason Center. Her resignation was confirmed by the organization earlier this week.

Taylor Kumpe had lead the nonprofit, which provides shelter and support services to victims of domestic violence, for nearly three years.

According to Kaysha Rajani, the Marjaree Mason Center’s director of development and communications, Taylor Kumpe told the Center’s board of directors she was leaving “for personal reasons.”

Rajani said a search is already underway for a new executive director.

“For now, Marcus Martin, our finance director, and Lucianna Ventresca, our associate director, are going to function as co-interim executive directors,” Rajani added.
