It was a two-win year for the Granville organization in the Best of Central Valley Business.

For 40 years, Granville Homes has been building homes in the Central Valley and is receiving the award for the Best Homebuilder for the fourth year in a row.

“Customer satisfaction is extremely important to us,” President Darius Assemi said.

In 2017, Granville built more than 180 homes, ranging from 3-bedroom, 1,500 square foot homes to 6-bedroom 3,200 square foot homes.

“We love building lifestyle communities that create incredible living standards for our homeowners,” Assemi said. “We don’t just build a home, we build a community.”

On the philanthropic side, Granville Foundation and the Home of Hope program, Granville Homes has worked with dozens of local charities to raise more than $4.5 million since its inception to foundations and programs across the Valley.

Since 2006, Granville has been holding the Home of Hope program, where a home is put up for raffle.

Five thousand tickets were sold, raising more than $500,000 to fund programs like; Community Food Bank; Art of Life; Renaissance Scholars; Hinds Hospice; Breaking the Chains; Foundation for Clovis Schools, Assistance League; Foundation for Sanger Schools; Fresno Police Chaplaincy Program.

The focus is to support organizations that assist with food, shelter, health care and education for the underprivileged.

“Without charity, our community would collapse,” Assemi said. “We’re very grateful for the work that nonprofits do and we want to be supportive of that.”
