Fresno’s Annex Kitchen and Chef Jimmy Pardini have been riding a wave of acclaim of late, with a shout out from celebrity chef Tyler Florence last month and a Best of the Valley Restaurant Award earlier this year.

In addition, Simon Majumdar, celebrity chef and television food competition judge, has been gushing about Pardini’s Fresno State corn agnolotti pasta during his last two appearances in Fresno as part of the Fresno Food Expo.

It’s looking like Annex Kitchen is set to get some national television time, according to a social media post telling people to set their television DVR recorders for The Cooking Channel to see an appearance on an episode of “The Best Thing I Ever Ate” entitled “Life Changers.”

The episode is set to air Jan. 8, 2018, at 5 p.m.

The post is coy about which dish will be featured, but two corn emojis capping the post may be some indication that everyone’s favorite Fresno State corn agnolotti pasta is the likely culprit.
