Yardney Water Filtration Systems will celebrate its first year of serving area customers from its Fresno location at an open house on Aug. 11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event, which will be held at 4027 E. Therese Ave. in Fresno, is open to growers, irrigation dealers and their employees who work within the agriculture industry.

In addition to lunch and equipment demonstrations, attendees can view the new location and talk with irrigation experts about their water filtration needs. Those wishing to attend are asked to sign up at events@yardneyfilters.com or call 760-464-0035.

“Though we’ve served irrigation and industrial customers for more than 50 years, having a physical presence in Fresno brings our team closer,” said Chris Phillips, Yardney president. “Plus, we have filtration systems and parts readily available and can more quickly service the market, our dealers and end user’s needs.”

“Customers in the Central Valley have welcomed us,” Phillips added. “They and our dealers make having a physical location here worthwhile.”

Headquartered in Riverside, Yardney Water Filtration Systems has served Central Valley farms and businesses since it began operating in 1965. The company’s history is rooted in citrus-growing areas where farmers must remove sand, silt, grit, algae and other contaminants from irrigation water prior to disbursing through a low-volume irrigation system.

Yardney Water Filtrations Systems pioneered the use of sand media filtration in the agriculture industry. The company operates out of two state-of-the-art 60,000-square-foot research, design and manufacturing facilities in Riverside.
