The Tulare County Economic Development Corporation is welcoming a new CEO.

Airica de Oliveira has accepted the role of CEO for the Tulare County EDC, taking on the responsibility of continuing its mission to serve the county’s residents, businesses and their economic interests.

De Oliveira first started with the EDC as operations manager in July 2021.

As CEO, her priorities will include maximizing opportunities for economic growth and job creation, positioning the region for prosperity and sustainability, supporting business and creating a competitive environment for businesses through recruitment, expansion, and retention.

“It is a tremendous honor to serve and represent my home, Tulare County. I truly believe in the mission and vision of Tulare County EDC and I’m very optimistic that together, with our cities, county, and private partners, we can achieve much success,” de Oliveira said.

The position has been vacant since former CEO Nathan Ahle left the position March 11. Ahle had previously headed up the Fresno Chamber of Commerce.

Before Ahle, Paul Saldana had lead the organization for 20 years.
