Fresno food and beverage showcase MADE Central California is coming to the Fresno Convention Center on Aug. 31 and Sept. 1.

The expo will feature some of the region’s most innovative and established food industry companies providing local buyers networking opportunities, brand building experience and a chance to showcase products and services to new prospective customers.

Organizers shuttered the event in 2020, when it was called the California Food Expo — renamed from the Fresno Food Expo.

The event features a variety of activities, starting with the televised Caglia Environmental Pressure Cooker Competition at 3 p.m., as well as seminars, including a panel discussion on the Valley’s agricultural footprint featuring Bill Harrison, Jeff Aiello and Ryan Jacobsen.

The event will also feature a trade show, inviting food and beverage producers to showcase their products.

Attendees will be invited to several social gatherings throughout the event, culminating in TASTE – a public event where guests will be able to try products, as well as vote for their favorite products and restaurant creations, with the top-two vote receivers named at the end of the event.

Tickets to the public event on Sept. 1 are on sale at MADE Central California’s website for $50.

Discounted online registration for the event ends Aug. 26 at 5:00 p.m. Onsite registration begins starting Aug. 31 at 9:00 a.m.
