Created to raise awareness for premature birth, World Prematurity Day is Nov. 17. Two Clovis business owners touched by preterm birth are giving back to a local neonatal or pediatric specialist.
In honor of World Prematurity Day, Facelogic Spa in Clovis is giving away a complimentary elite facial, including a therapeutic massage, skin analysis, extractions, exfoliation, a masque, cleansing, serum and moisturizer.
Nominations from the public to find that lucky specialist are now open and can be submitted by emailing Facelogic Spa in Clovis with their PICU (pediatric intensive care unit) or NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) nurse’s name, place of employment and a brief summary of their experience.

Owners Sevag and Susie Tateosian were both born prematurely. Sevag was born weighing just three pounds and four ounces with doctors concerned for his survival. Susie was a twin; her brother did not survive.
The couple’s youngest son also spent a week at the NICU after being born a month early.
“Here at Facelogic we have personally been touched by NICU/PICU nurses,” a flyer for the event reads. “To honor and celebrate them we are asking that you nominate your favorite nurse.”
Nominations can be sent via email, with a winner to be randomly selected on Nov. 17.
