The Fresno Convention & Entertainment Center (FCEC) has recently installed a state-of-the-art Listen Technology Assistive Listening Device system (ALD) in the Saroyan Theatre.

The upgraded ALD system will allow up to 92 deaf patrons the ability to use these receivers during any event held in Saroyan Theatre.

The ALDs installed in Saroyan Theatre are available for audiences with all degrees of hearing loss, from mild to profound. Patrons with hearing aids and cochlear implants that include a “T” switch, will be given a neck-loop while those who want a volume boost will benefit from the ear speaker.

The FCEC will host a soft opening of the ALDs Saturday night at the Dead Man Walking performance presented by Fresno Grand Opera.

For more information on ALDs and a list of frequently asked questions, visit the FCEC website at http://www.fresnoconventioncenter.com/saroyan-theatre.
