A Visalia restaurant is closing and its sister restaurant in Hanford is up for sale as Covid has pushed the restaurant to the brink.

Amy Rose, owner of Ryan’s Place, announced on the restaurant’s website that they would close after more than 30 years in business.

“As all good things must come to an end, we are sad to say due to Covid-19 creating a financial pull on both us as the business owners and our landlord’s need to support their family, Ryan’s Visalia is closed for good,” Rose said. The location at Hanford, including the property, is being offered up for sale.

Rose also owns the Black Bear Diner locations in Hanford, Visalia, Tulare, Porterville, Fresno, Madera and Los Banos.
