Real estate information firm CoreLogic is reporting that foreclosure and mortgage delinquency rates across the Valley were trending lower at the end of 2015.

The foreclosure rate in Fresno Valley foreclosure rates in December 2015 was 0.61 percent, down from 0.77 percent a year ago. The rate of Fresno mortgages that were 90 days or more delinquent that month was 2.35 percent in December from 2.79 percent a year ago.

In December, the Hanford-Corcoran area saw a 0.71 percent foreclosure rate, down from 1.03 percent a year ago. The delinquency rate was 2.95 percent that month, down from 3.55 percent a year ago.

Visalia-Porterville’s Valley foreclosure rates in December was 0.66 percent, down from 0.83 percent a year ago. The delinquency rate that month was 2.51 percent, down from 3.05 percent a year ago.

The December foreclosure rate in Madera was 0.70 percent, down from 0.90 percent a year ago. The delinquency rate that month was 2.69 percent, down from 3.23 percent last year.
