INTERIOR DESIGN

Ryan Kampf became a sales executive for Tangram Interiors in October 2018. The company provides the expert integration of contract-grade furniture, technology, floor coverings and service solutions that ultimately captures the client’s vision for their brand. In his new role, Kampf works to bring highly creative commercial interior environments to Central Valley workspaces. A Fresno inhabitant for 35 years, Kampf has prior experience from the copier and printer industry and Clovis Unified School District. In addition, he is a member at Sunnyside Country Club, where he golfs with clients, prospects and friends.

SMALL BUSINESS

The Fresno Chamber of Commerce is pleased to begin the New Year with new volunteer leadership. Wendy Batti of the Jeffrey Scott Agency will serve as the 2019 chair of the board of directors, replacing the outgoing Moe Bagunu of Manchester Center.

HEALTH CARE

Family HealthCare Network welcomes Manucher Mehraein, MD, as a family medicine practitioner at the Visalia Mooney Health Center. Jefferson Paine, PA-C, is also a new family medicine provider at the Visalia Mooney Health Center. Florence Garrovillas, MD, is a new pediatrics practitioner at the Goshen Health Center.

MEDIA

Fresno State Media, Communications and Journalism alumnus and two-time Peabody award recipient Victor Hernandez has been appointed to the board of directors for the Society of Professional Journalists.

NONPROFITS

Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino recently hosted its December community breakfast and presented a check for $5,868 to Valley Animal Haven, a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter that helps save the lives of helpless and homeless animals.

More than 435 people attended the breakfast, raising a total of $2,934 at the door. Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino and the Santa Rosa Rancheria Tribe matched the amount for a total donation of $5,868. Tachi Palace Marketing Director Tribal Intern Rojelio Morales presented the check to Pam Brasil, Executive Director of Valley Animal Haven.
