A lane of Weber Avenue in Fresno will be closed starting this Wednesday as part of ongoing work on the high-speed rail project.

The southbound lane of Weber between Clinton and Yale avenues will be closed starting Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The closure will be in effect weekdays through Aug. 2.

Drivers may experience delays; a flagger will be in place to direct traffic. Pedestrian access will also be restricted.

This work is part of Construction Package 1, the first 32-mile stretch of high-speed rail between Avenue 19 in Madera County and East American Avenue in Fresno County.
