NewGen IV, the mobile IV hydration therapy company, has found a permanent home in Madera.

The new storefront at 1930 Howard Rd. Suite 107, allows the business to assist up to ten clients at once, providing a comfortable and spacious environment for those seeking the benefits of IV therapy, an elective intravenous, vitamin-infused treatment used for wellness, hydration and a nutrient boost.

NewGen IV offers a wide menu of vitamin and hydration cocktails including hangover recovery, immune boost, anti-stress blend and flu recovery blends. They also offer specialty blends including rejuvenation, athlete recovery and detox.

Owned and operated by Nathaniel Lara and his wife Lila, the Laras started NewGen IV after Nathaniel’s mother was recovering from Covid-19. For weeks her symptoms lingered, so the family turned to IV therapy. After seeing the positive effects, Nathaniel was inspired to use his and his wife’s medical expertise and bring the service to the Madera area.

“It was kind of like a miraculous comeback, a whole complete turnaround,” said Lara. “I told my wife that we should look more into this because there’s no one else really doing it in our area.”

Since opening in January, the business has been limited to only mobile IV therapy. But after finding a storefront in September, the business can continue to grow and provide a more comprehensive list of services.

Now that they have a storefront, the Lara’s are hoping to expand the company and start providing services in Carmel.

“I think that’s a really good population to tap into, they’re into holistic medicine and more natural ways of healing,” said Lara.

The new storefront also provides the Lara’s access to more space to implement new treatments such as botox and infrared light therapy, which helps to reduce inflammation and help accelerate injury recovery.

A concierge family medicine clinic will be added to the location as well and provide telehealth services, medication refills (non-narcotic), sick visits, hypertension and diabetes management, and sports physicals. Men’s health and hormone replacement therapy is available as well.

NewGen IV will still be providing mobile IV therapy and can be found around the area at various pop-ups and fitness events.
