Fresno-based company gigRonin has added a tech bigwig executive to its team.

Jennifer Byrne has joined the company as the chairperson for their board of advisory. gigRonin deploys labor using the web to match available workers with open shifts in organizations with dynamic scheduling needs such as staffing, health care and manufacturing.

“Our mission is to help businesses rapidly adjust their workforce in order to maximize operational efficiency, and to simultaneously provide workers with tools that enable a job which fits their life,” said Tosh Cook, gigRonin’s CEO. “Jennifer brings amazing insights from the highest levels of the tech industry, and we are thrilled to have her wealth of experience as a guide in achieving our goals.”

Byrne has also taken an equity position in the latest company offering. Byrne is a veteran of the tech industry, most recently as the chief technology officer for Microsoft’s U.S. division.
