The Fresno Football Club may be close to finding a new home.
The soccer team that announced it would no longer play in Fresno today made an announcement via Facebook that “it is in the final stages of securing a re-location for the 2021 USL Championship season.”
The team would not play in 2020, the post went on to state. The home location for the team Facebook page is listed as Monterey. Owner Ray Beshoff also owns a car dealership in San Jose.
The Fresno Foxes announced in October after their first playoff appearance that due to rising costs and the inability to secure a stadium, they would not play in Fresno any longer.
