The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a 23-year-old Dinuba man on allegations that he used social media to sell flavored THC vape cartridges to minors.

Detectives with the Special Investigations Task Force arrested Ruben Dominguez on multiple felony charges of selling marijuana to minors. His bail is set at $20,000, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.

The arrest capped a three-month investigation of allegations that a person was using social media sites to sell marijuana vaping products to minors under the name “STIIZY.” Detectives said they sent a minor decoy to meet the suspect and purchase some of the vape pods, after which he was arrested.

The investigation was made possible due to a $552,000 grant to enforce tobacco laws in regards to minors by the Department of Justice.
