Visitors to River Park in Fresno craving a slice will have another option when Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza opens next week.

It will be the second Blaze Pizza location in the Fresno-Clovis area. The first opened at Herndon and Fowler avenues last year.

The new location opens Nov. 8 in a 2,000 square-foot space directly across from Edwards 22 Cinemas. The River Park Blaze Pizza will feature an open kitchen layout, interior seating for 62 and an exterior patio.

Diners who follow Blaze Pizza on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook can receive a free 11-inch, build-your-own pizza on Nov. 9 from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Martha Olmos is the franchise owner for the new River Park location.

“We are excited to open our second restaurant in the Fresno market and we are pleased to be a part of the wonderful community culture of Fresno,” Olmos said in a statement.

The Fresno restaurant will create 50 new jobs.

There are also Blaze Pizza location in Tulare and Visalia.
