Comcast customers in Downtown Fresno experienced a service outage Wednesday morning.

The outage is affecting more than 100 customers near Fresno’s Courthouse park, according to a Comcast representative. It is expected to be resolved by 11 a.m. Wednesday.

Service at The Business Journal’s office at Van Ness Avene and Merced Street was actually out intermittently beginning on Tuesday into Wednesday, but seems to be working again as of 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. Service at the Fresno Chamber of Commerce offices at Fresno and N streets were also impacted Wednesday morning.

The problem is believed to be with Comcast’s infrastructure, and technicians are working to resolve the problem.
