The City of Fresno’s Information Services Department (ISD) was named a winner of the “Top 50 Technology Team” award at the OnCon Icon Awards ceremony this week, highlighting its outstanding achievement in leadership, innovation and more.

Fresno Mayor Jerry Dyer made the announcement on Friday, expressing his thanks to the department and pride in their ability to help maintain operations at the City’s offices.

“We are proud of the work the ISD team accomplishes every single day,” said Mayor Dyer. “They do a wonderful job promoting innovation, leadership, and teamwork. Their dedication to problem-solving and ability to adapt to challenges has been instrumental in keeping our operations running smoothly.”

Award winners are selected through peers and community voting; teams are selected based on their success and positive impact in their organization, as well as their leadership contributions, innovation and leadership skills.

The Fresno Economic Opportunities Commission was also named a “Top 50 Technology Team” at the event.
