Camarena Health is unveiling its newest facility at the Tesoro Viejo’s Town Center in Madera County with a Wednesday ribbon cutting.

The 13,000 square-foot wellness center will begin accepting patients Feb. 6.

The Camarena Health Wellness Center will be housed in a two-story facility offering medical, dental and health education. The facility will also be equipped with a gym and spaces for exercise, group workouts and classes.

The facility is staffed by more than 12 individuals including medical providers, dentists, behavioral health clinicians, clinical support staff and health educators.

The health educators will provide customized wellness plans focused on improved health and nutrition. Additionally, they will offer one-on-one counseling sessions, group sessions and community workshops.

“It is a real privilege for Camarena Health to collaborate with Tesoro Viejo on this innovative project,” said Camarena Health CEO Paulo Soares. “We look forward to helping this community thrive through meeting the health and wellness needs of its residents and their families. I believe this Wellness Center will have a lasting impact on the overall health of this community for many years to come.”

“Health and wellness are a cornerstone of Tesoro Viejo, and it is only fitting that we welcome Camarena Health and Wellness Center into the heart of our Town Center,” said Bob McCaffrey, CEO of Tesoro Viejo. “Opening this facility will help our residents and community sustain and improve their quality of life.”
