Department store giant Walmart is looking to hire 100 additional truck drivers to support operations at its Porterville and Sacramento distribution centers.

Those centers transport goods throughout California and Nevada, and the new drivers will qualify for the company’s recently announced driver pay increase that allows them to earn up to $87,500 in their first year of employment, with an all-in rate of nearly 89 cents per mile, states a Walmart press release.

To drive for Walmart, a commercial driver must have at least 30 months of full-time truck driving experience with no serious traffic violations in the last three years.

To apply to drive for Walmart, go online to drive4walmart.com.
