Visalia-based Central Valley Testing has joined RMA Companies, a group of employee-owned engineering firms located across the state.


The original Central Valley Testing staff will be retained in the deal, and local Visalia resident Darren Alexander will take over day-to-day operations of the firm, which provides professional soils engineering, construction inspections and laboratory testing services.

The firm was founded in 1981 by veteran Dennis Myers.

The firm will join forces with RMA’s local staff, which including RMA GeoScience, which operates a full-service laboratory in Fresno.

“The combined company will represent one of the most client-focused, service-oriented and experienced geotechnical engineering firms in the Valley with increased capacity and capabilities to better serve its clients’ needs,” according to a news release from RMA.
