Monisha Edwards, the founder and director of brand development for Truth Branding Agency, won first place at a pitch competition put on by the Fresno Metro Black Chamber of Commerce and Wells Fargo at the third annual Women’s Empowerment Summit.

Edwards competed against four other women entrepreneurs during the Get FIT to Pitch competition for a $2,000 grand prize award and a $500 people’s choice award. Edwards won the grand prize for pitching her start-up branding firm, while Camille Valentine of Valentine Mediation took home the people’s choice award.

Truth Branding is a brand design and digital marketing agency in Downtown Fresno, housed inside the Bitwise South Stadium building.
