Tachi Palace Casino Resort issued a warning to the public Thursday about a series of fraudulent online ads purportedly from the casino offering online gambling, downloadable apps and large welcome bonuses.

The ads often appear on Facebook and Instagram, misusing Tachi Palace’s name, logo and imagery to persuade people to provide personal or financial information, according to a news release Thursday.

Fake ads have been linked to entities including “Game Lucky” and often promote $1,500 bonuses and free weekly spins. The apps mimic the look and feel of legitimate promotions, adding to confusion among customers.

“These scam ads are not affiliated with us in any way,” said Rojelio Morales, director of marketing at Tachi Palace. “Tachi Palace Casino Resort does not offer any online gaming platform or downloadable app for use in other states. Any post or advertisement that claims otherwise is a scam, and we urge our guests to avoid engaging with them.”

Tachi Palace tells customers that it does not offer online gambling and urges guests to refrain from downloading apps claiming to be affiliated with Tachi Palace. The casino also urges guests not to provide personal or payment information through specific links, and says individuals should report scams directly through Facebook or Instagram.

Additionally, the casino recommends guests verify questionable promotions with Tachi Palace through official casino channels.

“Our guests’ trust and safety are extremely important to us,” Morales added. “Tachi Palace remains an in-person gaming destination — and proud of it. We will never ask guests to submit financial information through third-party apps or platforms.”

Tachi Palace recommends guests who believe they have encountered a fraudulent ad to report the page directly to Meta’s platform to help reduce the visibility of the scam and alert the platform to take action.
