What we do:  Guarantee is the largest full service real estate company in Central California
Education:  Reedley College
Age:  58
Family:  Married to Barbara, 3 sons, 3 grandchildren

How did you first get involved in the real estate business?
A near fatal car accident 10 years ago forced a career change from my farming/trucking business to real estate. I have since made a full recovery

Do you feel the real estate industry is now on stable ground, Tim?
The market is stabilizing with inventory at record lows

Currently would you say it’s a buyers’ or sellers’ market, Tim?
We are experiencing the best of both worlds with the affordability index high and pricing levels increasing.

Do you believe the real estate industry has a bright immediate future, Tim?
I am optimistic with low inventory and excellent demand

Are you concerned about the reported impending fiscal cliff? Do you feel it will impact your business/industry, Tim?
Bringing our national debt and spending under control needs to be the top priority. High unemployment and rising interest rates will negatively impact our entire economy

What inspired your CentralValleyTalk.com web broadcast, Tim?
The show was offered to me after my run for the California State Senate in the 16th District

What is the format of that show and what are some of the key topics you cover on your show, Tim?
Real estate, business/business profiles and politics. The theme of the show is “Hope, Growth and Prosperity — any direction that our government takes us other than that is the wrong direction”

Is your viewership growing, Tim?
Yes, our viewership at Central Valley Talk has more than doubled in the past 2 years

Why is it important for you personally to be a part of the Central Valley business community?
As native of the Valley I take great pride in being a part of its growth and future

What are some of your most memorable experiences working in the real estate field, Tim?
I have been blessed with many great experiences helping my clients buy or sell residential, commercial and agricultural properties. The most rewarding by far is handing my clients the keys to their first home

What was your first job growing up and what did you learn from it?
Working for my father on the family farm. I learned at an early age the value of hard work and persistence.

What do you like to do for fun in your spare time, Tim?
Camping, horseback riding, hunting and fishing with my family
