Sunnyside golf pro to compete at U.S. Senior Open

Steve Pellegrine, Sunnyside Country Club’s head golf professional, is competing this week in the prestigious U.S. Senior Open golf championship being held in Columbus, Ohio.

Pellegrine advanced to the tournament as a qualifier and will tee it up beginning today alongside Senior Open stars including John Daly, Jesper Parnevik, Hale Irwin and Bernard Langer.

The tournament, which is being broadcast on FS1 today and Friday and on FOX on Saturday and Sunday, is being played at the Scioto Country Club.
