Chicken is coming to Fig Garden Village, and they’re looking to lasso up some employees when it opens this summer.

Fast-casual Cowboy Chicken will be serving its wood-fired rotisserie chicken and sides, where Deli Delicious once operated.

“We’re very eager to introduce Cowboy Chicken’s community spirit and legendary wood-fired flavor to more areas of California,” says Cowboy Chicken president and CEO Sean Kennedy. “The restaurant offers a unique dining experience that is ideal for Fresno’s Fig Garden Village.”

The move to Fresno is a part of a larger move to the West Coast. The Fig Garden location will be the third in California for the Dallas-based chain.

Another 30 locations are planned across the state, the release went on to state.

Southwestern-style fare fills the menu, with chicken courses as well as entrees such as rotisserie platters, enchiladas and sandwiches, and sides including “Twice Baked Potaters,” baked mac-and-cheese, ranchero beans and seasonal cobblers.

Cowboy Chicken also offers catering and online ordering via their app.
