The high-end restaurant offering of one of the area’s resort casinos has been listed among the most distinguished eateries in North America.

The Distinguished Restaurants of North America (DiRōNA) Award of Excellence — one of the most prestigious awards in the industry, according to a news release — has added 98 establishments to its list of renowned restaurants for 2023.

One of them is the Vintage Steakhouse in Coarsegold, located at Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino. It is the only restaurant in the Central Valley on the list.

Founded in 1990, DiRōNA was established to identify and honor exceptional restaurants that provide an extraordinary dining experience, according to the release.

Less than 700 restaurants in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean have won the award.

Vintage Steakhouse is also a regular winner of Wine Spectator’s Restaurant Award of Excellence.
