Mike Sater, president of Sater Oil, owns the franchise in front of the Wal-Mart on Kings Canyon Road in southeast Fresno. He confirmed the Midwest chain would be making its Central Valley debut when doors finally open at 10 a.m. March 6.
Flooded with calls asking when Steak n’ Shake would open, Sater said the team hustled over the last few weeks to complete interior finishes and hire employees, who are currently training this week.
“It worked out well,” Sater said of the timing. A few weeks ago, Sater estimated the opening would not take place until mid-March.
