San Joaquin Valley College (SJVC) has introduced a new online Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership (BSOL) program. The program is designed to provide professionals with leadership and management skills.

The BSOL program can be completed in 18 months, and is intended for individuals who have already earned an Associate of Science degree and wish to continue their education.

The BSOL curriculum covers communication strategies, data analysis, group dynamics and research methods to prepare students for leadership roles in various industries

“The Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership program is a step forward in offering flexible and practical education for individuals seeking leadership roles,” said Nick Gomez, president of SJVC, in a news release.

Students in the program will develop skills in communication, problem-solving, ethical decision-making and data-driven leadership.

Potential career paths for graduates include positions in human resources, training and development, management analysis and post-secondary business education.

Applicants must transfer at least 60 college credits. Those with an associate degree in business, management, or a related field may qualify for direct entry, while others may need to complete additional coursework.

The BSOL program is designed to help students build leadership skills related to managing change, conflict resolution, and data-informed decision-making, with applications in multiple professional fields.
