Healthgrades, an online database for health care providers, has named Saint Agnes Medical Center as one of the nation’s top hospitals for cardiac care, along with orthopedic and neurosurgery care.

This marks the seventh year in a row in which the nationwide database has named Saint Agnes as one of the 100 Best Hospitals for Spine Surgery, receiving their seventh-consecutive Healthgrades Spine Surgery Excellence award.

“We are honored to be recognized by Healthgrades as a leading hospital in the nation,” said Nancy Hollingsworth, RN, president and CEO of Saint Agnes. “These awards and designations demonstrate our commitment to our patients and reinforce our promise to the community as an institution that delivers high-quality care.”

For the last seven years, Saint Agnes has been named among the top 10 percent in the country for spine surgery and this year was in the top 5 percent. It was also in the top 10 percent for orthopedic services three years in a row and has been a recipient of the Healthgrades Orthopedic Surgery Excellence Award for the third year.

Saint Agnes was also recipient of a five-star rating from Healthgrades for spinal fusion, treatment of heart attack, hip fracture treatment, back surgery and defibrillator procedures for 2018.
