Riley’s Brewing announced on social media Wednesday that it will open a storefront in Selma, marking the first taphouse the brewery has operated south of Fresno.
Featuring 20 taps of Riley’s brews, as well as other local rotating selections and wines, the taphouse will also feature a food menu including bar snacks, burgers and pizza.
Riley’s Brewing Taphouse and Eats will open at 2940 McCall Ave., Ste. 112, in Selma – the former home of Selma’s Chicken Shack, which closed its doors spring of 2022.
On Wednesday, a Facebook page for Riley’s Taproom – Selma was activated and linked to a post on Riley’s Brewing’s main Facebook account.
Just a year and a half ago, Riley’s owner, Dan Riley, quelled rumors of the businesses closure in a social media video following a devastating fire that destroyed its main warehouse in Madera in July 2022.
Despite the loss of their warehouse and the closure of a Clovis Riley’s Brew Pub late last year, Riley’s Taproom – Selma should open “in the very near future,” according to the original announcement.
A message left for Riley was not returned Thursday.
