Almond Board of California

What we do:
Almond Board of California promotes natural and wholesome almonds through its research-based approach to all aspects of marketing, farming and production on behalf of the more than 6,500 California Almond growers and processors, almost all of whom are multi-generational family operations. Established in 1950 and based in Modesto, California, the Almond Board of California is a non-profit organization that administers a grower-enacted Federal Marketing Order under the supervision of the United States Department of Agriculture.

Education: I grew up in Los Angeles and attended New York University where I received a degree in international marketing and management, and subsequently obtained a master’s degree in international management from the American Graduate School of International Management in Phoenix, AZ.

Age: I am 61 years old.

Family: My wife and I have a 26 year old daughter, who is enrolled in a graduate opera program at the University of Maryland, and a 20 year old son who is a junior at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine majoring in biology.
