Randy’s Donuts will open its doors in Fresno on Tuesday, April 15 at 6 a.m., bringing over 60 varieties to a Central Valley hotly anticipating the iconic Los Angeles brand.

The shop, located at 2369 E. Shaw Ave. near Fresno State, will ring in the grand opening by offering free glazed raised doughnuts to customers from 6 a.m. to noon.

Following the opening, Randy’s Donuts will be open daily from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.

It’s the first of three Randy’s Donuts stores in the pipeline for the Fresno-Clovis area. There was no update from Randy’s Donuts on an opening date for the location near Palm and Bullard avenues.

Brian Gonzales, Aimee Gonzales, and Carissa Davis are the owners of GLE Confections, LLC, the entity operating the Randy’s Donuts franchise.

“We couldn’t be more excited to bring Randy’s Donuts to Fresno,” said Gonzales in a statement.. “Our team is passionate about this brand, and we’re committed to delivering the same quality and experience that Randy’s Donuts is known for. We look forward to Randy’s becoming a part of the Fresno community and serving up smiles with every donut.”

Known for its 32-foot doughnut statue, Randy’s Donuts location in Fresno will not feature a rooftop sign, but will offer its handmade treat and coffee drinks.

Last week, Randy’s Donuts held a soft opening for family and friends.

“We are excited to expand our reach and bring our world-famous donuts to the Central Valley,” said Mark Kelegian, owner of Randy’s Donuts, founded in Inglewood in 1952. “The enthusiasm and support from the Fresno community have been incredible, and we look forward to serving them with our delicious donuts and exceptional customer service.”

A lease for a Randy’s Donuts location at 1195 Shaw Ave., Suite 101, in Clovis north of Sierra Vista Mall was executed by Red Mountain Asset Fund I, LLC, to Randy’s Donuts.

No other local opening dates have been released.
