NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Parlier will conduct a public meeting on June 3, 2021, at 6:30 pm, at Parlier City Hall. This meeting discusses possible applications for funding under the next fiscal year’s (July 1 to June 30) State Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. The activities and/or programs funded through CDBG must meet one or more of the three National Objective in the Federal Statute: Benefit to low-moderate income households/persons; elimination of slums and blight; or meeting Community Development need.

The City of Parlier anticipates submitting an application under the NOFA published this year. The City will expend their Program Income before expending grant funds. The purpose of this public hearing is to allow citizens to make their comments known regarding what types of eligible activities that Parlier should apply for under the State CDBG program to include the Program Income fund. This is the second public meeting.

POR LA PRESENTE SE DA AVISO de que la Ciudad de Parlier llevará a cabo una reunión pública el 3 de junio de 2021, a las 6:30 pm, en el Ayuntamiento de Parlier. En esta reunión se discuten las posibles solicitudes de financiación en el marco del programa estatal de subvenciones globales para el desarrollo comunitario (CDBG) del próximo año fiscal (1 de julio al 30 de junio). Además, solicita la opinión de los ciudadanos sobre posibles actividades competitivas y complementarias para la aplicación.

Las asignaciones de Desarrollo Comunitario y Desarrollo Económico del programa estatal CDBG se publicarán en un año de programa combinado de “Aviso de disponibilidad de fondos” (NOFA). Las ciudades elegibles pueden presentar solicitudes de Vivienda y Desarrollo Comunitario para fondos CDBG bajo el NOFA 2021 por un máximo por solicitud de solicitud de $ 1,500,000.
