The Leavitt Group, a member of United Valley Insurance Services in Fresno, announced that KJ Stephens and Adam Terpstra have joined the agency’s Granite Bay location near Sacramento.


Terpstra began his insurance career in 2006, working for a national insurance company as a Risk Engineering Consultant and became an agent in 2011. Stephens is new to the insurance industry, joining the agency after serving as a youth pastor for over 15 years. KJ will focus on the employee benefits needs of employers in the area.

BANKING

Rabobank N.A. has promoted James Williamson to analyst for its RaboResearch Food and Agribusiness unit based in Fresno. He is responsible for analyzing the latest market developments in North American tree nuts, California dairy, U.S. rice and other western U.S. field crops. He joined Rabobank in 2014 as an associate analyst. Prior to that, Williamson worked at Helena Chemical Company as a junior credit analyst and was a sales and marketing intern for South Valley Almond Company. He has a bachelor’s degree in global food and agribusiness management with an emphasis in Mandarin Chinese and Asian studies from Brigham Young University-Idaho.

Fresno Councilmember Esmeralda Soria is celebrating Women’s History Month by honoring local woman in Fresno that have made significant contributions to the community. The group was honored with a dinner entitled “Fresno Women Leading the Way” March 21 at Fresno City College.
