Pearson Realty President and CEO John Stewart and The Ranch Company Founder John Grimmius announced today that the two real estate firms have merged.

Fresno’s Pearson Realty is a leader in commercial real estate and agricultural properties while The Ranch Company in Visalia has developed a well-respected reputation in the Valley dairy industry, providing services that include auctions, exchanges, estate planning and brokerage services.

Jim Olivas, senior vice president of the Farm Lands Department at Pearson, is excited about the combination.

“The two firms have worked well together for many years, providing complementary services to mutual clients,” Olivas said.

“Dairy is a top industry in the valley and the depth of experience and relationships John Grimmius brings to our team is formidable,” Olivas added. “Our new synergy will benefit not only our clients, but the valley’s ag community in general.”

Grimmius cited “expanded access to resources” and “planned succession” as the two principal reasons for making the move.

“I look forward to helping younger agents to learn how best to serve the dairy industry,” Grimmius said. “This merger lays the foundation to continue the legacy our team built over four decades.”
