Pardini’s will hold a soft opening for its new standalone cocktail bar, The Red Room, this Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to midnight.
Located at 2257 W. Shaw Ave., The Red Room fills Pardini’s lounge space, which was previously only used for private events. The space can accommodate 120 seated guests or 250 guests for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.
“Our original intention when redesigning the bar space was to create a very bold and distinctive space that would be used exclusively for private events,” Jeff Pardini, co-owner of Pardini’s, told The Business Journal last month. “But as we got further along into the project, we thought it would be great to open the bar to the public and give it a dual purpose.”
Partnering with Ryan Metcalf, whose bartending career got its start at The Annex Kitchen, The Red Room will offer cocktails and a small selection of traditional bar-style snacks.
Combining a vintage feel with a modern twist, The Red Room will feature black-and-white checkerboard floors, red colored walls and walnut millwork with plush banquette seating.
