Fresno State baseball and softball fans will be able to order a beer along with their hotdog and nachos at games.

Pardini’s Concessions, the exclusive concessionaire with Fresno State, will be selling domestic, craft and premium beers at stands.

“It completes the ballpark experience for some people,” said Jeff Pardini, general manager at Pardini’s Concessions, a part of the Pardini’s family of restaurants. “That’s what they’re used to doing at professional events. Hot dog and a beer, that’s a big part of baseball.”

Last year, the California State University system allowed universities to decide on their own whether or not to sell alcohol at games and functions.

Domestic beer, which will include Budweiser, Bud Light and Michelob Ultra will be sold by the bottle or can for $7, while premium and craft beers, including Firestone Walker’s 805 and Stella Artois will be sold for $8.

Fresno State baseball will play Friday against the University of Nevada, Reno at 6:05 p.m. at Beiden Field. Fresno State softball will play Friday against Colorado State at 6 p.m. at the Margie Wright Diamond.
