Pardini’s Concessions is ready to ramp up for a very busy fall season, looking to hire 200 employees for seasonal events.

Pardini’s Concessions is hosting a job fair Aug. 5 and Aug. 10 to fill positions for the upcoming Fresno State football season and the Big Fresno Fair.

Jeff Pardini, owner of Pardini’s Concessions, said that normally Pardini’s can count on veteran employees returning year after year to these seasonal jobs.

“This year that number may not be as high,” Pardini said.

Positions at the Fresno Fair include bartenders and bar cashiers who are required to be at least 21 years of age.

Other positions include concession cashiers, prep and short order cooks, catering and banquet cooks, warehouse runners who are able to lift at least 50 pounds, office assistance and food servers.

Both seasonal events will depend on hiring a combined 200 employees during a time where restaurants have “now hiring” signs up in most windows due to staffing shortages.

Some job positions will also be filled for off-site general catering for events. The Big Fresno Fair will run from Oct. 6-17, and the Fresno State football season runs from August to November.

The job fair will be held at Pardini’s Banquet Facility at 2257 W. Shaw Ave. on Aug. 5 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Aug. 10 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Potential candidates should show up with resumes ready.
