Business is blooming at one of Fresno’s newest marketing firms.

Blooming Belle Marketing, owned and operated by Jennifer Elizondo Speck, specializes in promotional items, print and design, website hosting and maintenance and social media management.

While Blooming Belle has only been open a few short months, the company already boasts 100 clients, including Rabobank and National University.

Speck, who previously worked as a recruiter for pharmaceutical sales for 13 years, said her success in the industry was unexpected, but she quickly found her niche helping small to midsize businesses while working with her former husband at Speck Media.

“I loved the company and had this unique niche with promotional products so I decided to start my own marketing business and I was allowed to take my clients from Speck Media with me,” Speck said. “I use a similar business model at Blooming Belle, but I’ve added the emphasis on social media management. I also provide website hosting, photography and I assist clients in designing and choosing promotional items for trade shows and as giveaways for their clients.”

Speck chose Blooming Belle as her company name because it spurs images of Central Valley agriculture and her Kentucky roots.

“When you think of something blooming, you think of the Valley because it is ag-related, but you also think of the blooming of fresh ideas,” Speck said. “As for belle, I’m from Kentucky so call me a Southern Belle.”

As promotional items go, Speck considers Blooming Belle a one-stop shop, assisting clients with everything from banners and signage to coffee mugs and pens. With more than 3,000 suppliers at its disposal, there is likely no promotional product Blooming Belle can’t find, she said.

With her clients’ impressions on the line, Speck said she gives special attention to each project.

“I’m 100 percent hands-on for my clients,” Speck said. “Each job is unique, not the same old, same old.”

Though Speck does outsource for graphic design and social media management, she heads up each project to ensure her clients’ satisfaction. She even goes so far as to attend her clients’ events.

“I’m so involved in the community because I have a lot of active clients,” Speck said. “I enjoy being a part of the excitement and I’m friends with the people I work with.”

In addition to owning Blooming Belle, Speck is an ambassador with the Fresno Chamber of Commerce and a board member for the Fresno Art Museum.
